Our lab is applying and developing single cell technologies to understand molecular and cellular diversity in mammalian brains, and their change over time and under neurological conditions. We are looking for highly motivated researchers of all stages to join us. If you are naturally interested in biology and enjoy working in a creative environment, we would love to work with you! Please send your CV and a short summary of research interests to email@example.com.
December 2018: We are looking for a highly motivated research fellow in bioinformatics and neurogenetics. The newly established group in the Department of Human Genetics focuses on fundamental mechanisms of brain development with the ultimate goal of diagnosing and treating neurological diseases. Our recent work uncovered crucial functions of alternative RNA splicing in brain development, and identified novel coding and non-coding mutations that cause human brain malformations. Current research centers on tracing cell types in mammalian brains, and exploring functions of alternative RNA splicing in neurological disorders.
